We are The Immortals. A people of common ground, we consider ourselves loners, mavericks of the society in which we live. Only when we come together, as heroes or, what you may call, vigilantes, do we find salvation in our minds for the stark lives we have lived. Our code is like that of many others who've risked their lives to protect the masses, for we conduct ourselves under moral and justifiable restraints. But when a situation is desperate, with no preferable solution in sight, only then do we dare stray from our code. We serve to defend, to assist those who cannot do so themselves, and in our persistent search for redemption, we give hope to those not unlike ourselves. And if we are remembered one day, for the things we've done and the forfeits we've made, then we will be none other than Immortals.
